In Case My Advice Isn't All you Need (hard to believe, I know)

Alright so in case you were wondering if you'd need more sources of creativity and advice other than yours truly, (of course you don't) then this is the post for you! Today I'll be listing some of my more favored artist on the popular social media app: Instagram

I suppose, since you'll be getting to know me better, that I should talk about Facebook.
All political opinions aside, I just don't really like Facebook OR the people using it. Of COURSE it's okay to use it and of COURSE it's okay if you don't. Honestly I just like Instagram better because of the lacking of SO many mindless and/or insipid people on it.

I like Instagram.

ANYWAYS back to the topic at hand, let's just cut to the chase.
Without further ado, my favorite art-related Instagram pages!!!

1. Aki Anyway A talented artist with a fun art style and great tutorials (I don't really know much about them. just found them)
2. Serendipity The Artist is a pop surrealism painter/digital artist with an enthralling color sense and an (honestly kinda creepy) art style that will astound you
3. Xyconna (Raccoon Dad) digital artist with a tasteful sense of what fandoms to draw fan art of (does commissions) (and mostly just fan art)
4. Bin Of Trash  draws for BLUEJAY STUDIOS!!!!!! EEEEEEEEE!!! Anyhooooo, really good at drawing muscle-y guys
5. Stray Curls An artist with a very specific art style- sells calendars and stuff- a little inconsistent- when they are consistent they spam- a lot-
6. Artist Relates for when you don't feel professional- Funny- kinda lame memes-
7. Bill The Ghost Aphmau Fanart -digital- and mostly just OCs -also digital- sketches -not digital, but kinda messy- commissions -also digital-

Introduction

I've never done this before. SO this is my blog, and I should probably tell you what it's about. Well, basically (very basically), it's an art blog. Put into more detail, you could say it's a blog where I offer advice about drawing and painting and art tips and techniques to beginning (or intermediate, advanced, etc) artists. Plus, there're probably going to be other things such as displaying art of my own and others' art, allowing the occasional guest post (about art), and basically just write all the time about the thing I'm the most passionate about- art. SO ANATOMY STUFF

Today I'm going to be talking about structure and/or anatomy. Now, before you say or think it, I KNOW everyone told you to "study anatomy" before you start drawing. Yes, I KNOW you don't want to and think it's unnecessary. I couldn't agree more. After all, what art IS is squandering your life, broke and alone on the street, but still creating the most beautiful masterpieces that no one acknowledges until you're long dead  creating your OWN structures and shaping the human body the way YOU see it. But I still advise you to, at least before you get good (not that I'm saying you're not), look at the human muscles. and body. I'm not saying study, because I feel that that is a very wrong way of putting it (Art is art, not school) but at least figure out how everything is relative. Now you only have to do this until you look at people and admire the way they hold themselves when they stir pasta or you watch someone cry and think about drawing that...

ALRIGHT so I'm going to take a small sabbatical from my usual (two) posts and focus on THE BEST DAMN PIECE OF WRITING I HAVE EVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO LAY MY EYES ON It's called Lib's Life . It's basically my best friend (Lib)'s new blog. I talked her into creating one, but I didn't expect, when I checked it out, that I would read pure metaphorical GOLD.  (of course her writing wasn't actually gold. what I'm trying to say did she's the best damn writer in the entire world.
